Background
I arrived at becoming a therapist through a winding road of early life experiences, witnessing the unmet mental health needs of my community, and discovering my passion for helping others. During this time I was fortunate to practice in various community health and mental health organizations as well as family and youth programs. My direct work within the community eventually led to clinical supervisor and management roles in these settings.
I am extremely grateful for and humbled by the work I’ve been able to do in the community. I hold with me the lessons and down to earth perspectives that my clients continue to share with me.
